Overwhelmed with love
I woke up to another day,
Happy with my yesterday,
To another wondrous morn,
A glorious sun bathed dawn.
Happy to be alive,
To see yet another year,
By itself enough,
To every discontent snuff!
I hear the voices coming,
The laughing sounds ringing,
Feel the Happy embraces which,
Flood me in love!
Blessed, blessed life,
A life of love is this,
With many a kiss.
Overwhelmed in love again!
Songs are sung and,
Gifts bestowed,
I sit here all alone,
Silence restored.
Give and it shall be given,
Unto you,
Pressed down and shaken together,
Was all I knew!
Somehow I did not expect,
An answer so perfect,
So quick, so immense,
I am left with this feeling so intense!
By love inundated,
I laugh, I sing,
With happiness satiated,
In love’s sweet embrace!
