iRobot - Roomba Scooba your perfect house cleaning solution
69After I saw a Roomba, the iRobot, in action, Roomba the vacuuming robot has topped my wish list. Cleaning moping and dusting floors are not pleasant chores which I enjoy. The fact that I could personally never live in a filthy house, and that too with pets around, has made this a necessary routine, that I have to follow with no option at all. Though there are wonderful mops and other floor cleaning equipment that does make life easy, in my estimation nothing would come closer to an iRobot.
Amazon has great deals and I have put this in my wish list, hoping that it will indeed become my Christmas gift, and if not, I will just have to get it myself.
Roomba the vacuuming robot cleans floors, carpets effortlessly leaving it spick and span. Not only does it clean carpets, but it does a great job of cleaning under furniture and hard-to-reach places. When it runs out of charge, it goes back, docks itself and recharges itself to be ready for the next chore.
With so many things on your mind and so many details vying for attention in career and private life, it would be extremely sensible in investing in appliances that could reduce your work load and your stress levels. Though I am not too high on gadgets, this is one thing that I would put my money on and feel it is well spent. For me, this would mean more time with my spouse and children.
This vacuuming robot adjusts itself to any surface. The new version of the Roomba is easier to clean, so you do not have to waste time on cleaning the parts of the robot. This is quieter than its older versions, and has sensors that can detect dirt and stains and give them the thorough work-over.
Though I have made it sound like a dream, (it is for me!) there is one thing you need to work on before you get to use your Roomba, and that is to tweak your house a bit.
To ensure that the Roomba functions efficiently, you have to make sure that the I-robot does not get stuck in any pockets and run out of charge. If it does so , it cannot dock and recharge by itself. Thus, Roomba the I-robot comes highly recommended.
Scooba the floor washing iRobot
You can choose what fits your needs and there is one for every need. If you are a floor-washing person, Scooba can be your faithful assistant. This I-robot cleans all floors including sealed hardwood, tile, and linoleum, and can handle up to four average-size rooms (250 square feet) on a single battery charge. This like all I-robots is simple to operate, all you need to do is fill the tank with clean water and floor cleaning solution and press the button, and after your work is done empty the tank into the sink rinse and your Scooba is ready for the next time you need it.
It has a four stage cleaning process, it picks up dirt and waste left on the floors, so you don’t need to sweep; washes the floor, scrubs to remove grime and dries the floor leaving it sparkling as good as new.
You just need to use clean tap water and deep-cleaning, fresh-scented Clorox Scooba cleaning solution. Scooba avoids carpets, rugs, ledges so don’t worry about your carpets or rugs being stained.
iRobot pet series vacuum cleaning
This is one I robot from the makers of Roomba designed especially for pet owners. Those tufts of hair all over the carpet, and on the furniture as you try to sweep it up, are all a thing of the past.
The sturdy bristle brushes collect pet hair, dust, dander, making the home allergy free, even as the sensors detect dirt zones and go hard at work. The filters are designed to keep all fine dust inside the bin.
The sweeper bin is big enough to collect more dirt and hair than a regular vacuum. Having pets at home, I know what a relief it is to have no hair around. I can have the best of both worlds.
Dirt dog workshop robot
The Dirt dog workshop robot is designed for shop floors or may be for cleaning spaces like garages. Today you can have your pick of the iRobot of your choice based on your need.
It is guaranteed to make your life easy and less complicated.

My sister has one of these and loves it. It came on the other day while I was there. They are the coolest products. The robot really knows where to go and then when its done goes back into its hub. Wish they would invent one of these to do dishes.
Great hub! I have a friend with MS who has one of these - she loves it. She's even named it.

Well isn't that just the coolest thing? A couple of things come to mind though.. first picking up anything valuable off the floor before starting the robot..it doesn't know what 'not' to pick up, after all... Also, if you have a multi-patterned Turkish type carpet, how does it know what parts are dirtier than usual? Just asking... Other than that, it looks to be a nifty solution.
Nice, concise and informative hub sofs.
